My studio is filled with a surprising variety of still life objects, furniture and fabrics. I use Indian saris and Japanese kimonos, Mexican baskets and oriental ceramics, Moroccan wall hangings and tapestries for inspiration. I strive to evoke a memory, real or imagined, of places or passing moments of beauty. It may be an elaborate interior or a single flower in a bud vase.
